59. 燈火に陰と陽との二つあり、あかつき陰に夜は陽なり
tomoshibi ni in to yō tono futatsu ari, akatsuki in ni yoi wa yō nari

For lamps of the sort
To their yin and yang give thought
Yin light suits the dawn
While the darkness of the night
Wants the strength of yang burn bright

A dawn gathering
Befits the soft light of lamps
Wrapped with paper shade
While a night gathering wants
An oil lamp through dark pervade
